Set the stage for romance this Valentine’s Day at The House of J.C. Le Roux

Spoil the one you love this Valentine’s Day with flutes of bubbly and a special menu at The House of J.C. Le Roux in Stellenbosch, where Le Venue restaurant will set the tone for romance.

For early lovebirds, the breakfast menu offers a mouth-watering selection of orange and chocolate breakfast granola with plain yoghurt, sweet raspberry compote, fresh fruit and an omelette filled with crispy bacon, creamy camembert, caramelised red peppers and red onions, drizzled with basil pesto.

The regular a la carte menu will be on offer for lunch, more than enough reason to indulge in a selection of dishes with a glass of sparkling wine in the stylish restaurant or outside on the welcoming al fresco deck. It’s the perfect setting to spoil your loved one to an elegantly crafted J.C. Le Roux Méthode Cap Classique.

 

If an evening of romance is on the cards, the four course dinner will make for a memorable occasion. Guests will be greeted with flutes of bubbly, followed by an amuse bouche of black mushroom, eggplant with sweet chilli and red pepper aioli.

Choose between a salmon and cashew salad or herb-marinated beef Carpaccio starters, then tuck into a juicy honey-glazed pork belly or fresh Kingklip and prawns.

Dessert will be pure decadence with lime baked cheese cake with a cookie crumble and mixed berry coulis, or orange and lavender crème brûlée, strawberry skewer and pistachio dust.

 

Pre-booking at Tel: 021 865 8200 for all menus is essential. The set breakfast menu, served from 09h00 to 11h00, costs R135 per person. Dinner at R350 per person will start from 18h30 on the evening. Please note that the Le Venue kitchen closes an hour prior to closing time.
