Visa 2 The World the Gate is Open: Hayani Africa Joins as The PR Partner for the Global Creative Summit 2025
Africa’s creative leaders are joining forces for the inaugural Global Creative Summit (GCS), taking place from 13–15 November 2025. With the maxim “Visa To the World”, the Summit marks a defining moment for the continent’s creative economy: a collective movement uniting music, film, fashion, diplomacy, and trade under one African voice. The Global Creative Summit emerges as a pivotal platform dedicated to galvanising the continent’s cultural and creative industries, recognising their transformative potential for sustainable development and economic growth across Africa. This summit aims to create a cross-border community that activates the mobility of African creativity, encourages cross-border collaboration and access to new markets on the continent; this is our passport to the Africa we want.
As part of its efforts to unite diverse stakeholders, the GCS announces Hayani Africa as the official PR partner for the Summit. A collaboration that underscores the agency’s mission to amplify African stories that move industries and inspire action. From artists to policymakers, in a concerted effort to advance collaboration and investment within this burgeoning sector. Hayani Africa will bring together voices from across the creative spectrum, including the Women in Film and Television South Africa (WIFT SA) president and programmes lead, alongside Hayani’s in-house talent, contributing to discussions on the music and trade & diplomacy pillars.
“Africa’s creatives are not waiting for permission. We are building, leading, and trading our stories with the world,” says Sinamandla Kwepile, founder of the Global Creative Summit. “This partnership is about action, one united front for Africa’s creative future.”
The Global Creative Summit Investment Gala will be the stage for icons shaping Africa’s creative and diplomatic landscape, namely:
- Yvonne Chaka Chaka — The Princess of Africa. A global ambassador for song, service, and social impact, Yvonne’s four-decade career has bridged creativity and leadership, inspiring generations and championing women and youth across the world.
- Rex Omar (Ghana) — A highlife legend and cultural diplomat whose music and leadership continue to advocate for fair systems and creative equity across the continent.
With endorsements from local and international institutions, including the Zimbabwe National Arts Council, Botswana National Arts Council, Lagos State Ministry of Tourism, Arts & Culture, Seychelles National Institute for Culture, Heritage and the Arts, and Ghana’s Black Star Experience, the Summit reaffirms that Africa’s creative economy is serious business.
