Cape Town Spritzer Saturday: Sippin’ Spritzers, Slayin’ with the Besties ‍

We sashayed (okay, maybe taxied) into the Cape Town leg of the Brutal Fruit Saturday Spritzer Brunch, held at the oh-so-glam Cabo Beach Club. This event celebrates everything a girl could want: fierce fashion, foot-tapping music, delish food, and major girl power – all under one roof (with a seriously stunning ocean view, because duh).

Now, this wasn’t Brutal Fruit’s first rodeo in Cape Town. Last year, they wrangled the crew at Meerendal Wine Estate. Let’s just say, fashionably late as we were, the venue change was a total win. Picture this: a Cape Town Saturday bathed in sunshine, your besties by your side, a beachfront backdrop that would make Instagram weep, smooth tunes serenading your ears, and endless spritzer refills. Need we say more? Major aesthetic gold, people!

And the hostess with the mostest? Pamela Mtanga. This girl knows how to keep a party pumping! The awkward silences were nonexistent thanks to her magic touch. Brutal Fruit, hold onto her – she’s a gem!

Okay, ladies, be honest. We all know this event has become a must-attend for the Cape Town girl squad. Brutal Fruit gets major props for creating a safe space where we can celebrate life’s little victories with our girls, indulge in good tunes and good food, all while looking fabulous and feeling empowered. Plus, shoutout to the genius move of having a touch-up station with pro makeup artists at the entrance – flawless faces all day, honey! They even teamed up with Mangwani Spa for complimentary massages throughout the day. Event organizers, take note – this is the kind of thoughtful touch that makes a lasting impression!

But hey, no event is perfect. Here’s our two cents on some room for improvement:

  • The Music Mix: The lineup could use a little tweaking. Some of the acts didn’t quite hit the mark – gotta keep the audience and the DJs in mind, right?
  • Foodie Factor: Cabo Beach Club may be a stunner, but let’s be real, the food wasn’t exactly Instagram-worthy. It didn’t quite match the brunch vibes Brutal Fruit was aiming for. We would have loved to see some picture-perfect eats that were also delicious.

Overall, this event was a sparkling success! Amazing vibes, great company – can’t wait for the next one!
