SASO’S MARQUEE EXPERIENCE SETS THE TONE FOR DURBAN JULY WITH EXCLUSIVE STELLA ARTOIS ALL-WHITE LUNCHEON
The countdown to the 2026 Hollywoodbets Durban July officially began in style as Saso’s Marquee Experience, in partnership with Stella Artois, hosted an exclusive All-White Luncheon at 9th Avenue Waterside in Durban.
Bringing together an intimate gathering of celebrities, tastemakers and partners, the elegant afternoon offered guests a first taste of what to expect from this year’s award-winning Saso’s Marquee Experience – an elevated celebration of luxury hospitality, contemporary African culture and unforgettable entertainment.
Against the backdrop of Durban’s coastline, invited guests enjoyed premium Stella Artois hospitality while experiencing the sophistication, attention to detail and world-class hosting that have become synonymous with Saso’s Marquee Experience, winner of the Best Marquee award at the 2025 Hollywoodbets Durban July.
Adding to the occasion was the presence of Mercedes-Benz Umhlanga, whose luxury vehicles welcomed guests in signature style, perfectly complementing the refined atmosphere of the afternoon.
As race day fast approaches, Saso’s Marquee Experience also revealed a glimpse into what awaits guests on Saturday, 4 July. The experience will feature a historic MaXhosa Africa fashion showcase – the brand’s first-ever runway presentation in KwaZulu-Natal and at the Hollywoodbets Durban July, bringing together fashion, culture and craftsmanship in a landmark celebration of African luxury.
Guests can also look forward to a special Stella Artois Moment with acclaimed performer Zawadi Yamungu, while DreamTeam will take stage for an exclusive Moët & Chandon Moment, joined by surprise guest appearances throughout the day.
The entertainment offering will be headlined by Amapiano icon Kabza De Small, alongside a carefully curated line-up of South Africa’s leading artists and DJs, promising an unforgettable soundtrack to one of Durban July’s most sought-after hospitality destinations.
Completing the experience will be a premium culinary offering curated by Rajah, Knorr and Chef Tuladou, delivering a flavour-filled harvest table designed to celebrate African hospitality through exceptional food and shared moments.
