THE ULTIMATE FESTIVE GIG GUIDE: MZANSI’S HOTTEST SUMMER IS HERE

Keinemusik, Kunye, Scorpion Kings, Piano People & more set to unite 100,000+ festivalgoers across 30 events nationwide

From Cape Town’s golden shores to Johannesburg’s electric skyline, Anything Goes is turning summer 2025–2026 into the biggest season SA has seen yet — with over 30 shows and more than 100,000 fans expected to dance their way across the country. This year’s lineup blends global electronic icons with South Africa’s most powerful homegrown talent, creating a once-in-a-generation festive season of music, culture, and connection.

Fresh off standout productions including Paradisco: Lady Marmalade in Cape Town and Corona Sunsets Festival in Joburg, the continent’s leading entertainment agency now fires up the festive period with Halloween featuring Major League DJz on 31 October — and the momentum doesn’t stop until Ultra South Africa sweeps through Joburg and Cape Town in April 2026.

A Summer Where SA Meets the World

For over two decades, Anything Goes has shaped South Africa’s entertainment landscape, merging international music culture with the unmatched spirit of local audiences. This season is their most ambitious yet — reading like a world tour compressed into a single South African summer.

Expect global heavyweights including:

  • Keinemusik (Germany)
  • Four Tet (UK)
  • Ry X (Australia)
  • Blond:ish (Canada)

“International artists now see South Africa as a must-play stop on the global circuit,” says Shaun Duwe, Founder & CEO of Anything Goes. “This summer reflects that — a fusion of global and local talent against some of the most breathtaking backdrops in the world.”

Not only do these events elevate South Africa’s cultural presence globally — they also draw thousands of international travellers, stimulating local creative, hospitality, and tourism sectors.

Homegrown Heroes, Unmatched Energy

But the heart of the season? Mzansi’s own icons.
This summer celebrates SA’s rhythm-makers — Shimza, Scorpion Kings, DJ Kent, Major League DJz, and more — artists defining the country’s unstoppable urban sound.

From the deep-house heartbeat of Kunye, to the sun-drenched energy of Paradisco, to the lifestyle-meets-music identity of Corona Sunsets Festival, Anything Goes continues to champion the spirit, diversity, and optimism that make South Africa one of the world’s most dynamic cultural hubs.
