The air at the Kyalami Grand Prix Circuit on Sunday, September 21st, was thick with anticipation. The DStv Delicious International Food & Music Festival has always been about blending the best of local and international talent, and this year’s Sunday lineup was the perfect embodiment of that spirit.
Before the main event, the stage was a showcase of South Africa’s finest. The legendary Lira made her triumphant return, reminding everyone why she is the queen of Afro-soul. Her performance was radiant and emotional, a true homecoming that resonated with every person in the crowd. We also had the pleasure of being uplifted by gospel powerhouse Joyous Celebration Rewind and captivated by the unique blend of jazz and African melodies from Mandisi Dyantyis.
