Soulful stars Jaziel Brothers and Mondli Ngcobo Join Chris Walker and Regina Belle on the 2023 South Africa Summer Concert Tour
Soul music lovers are in for a thrill as “Inkanyezi” hit singer, Mondli Ngcobo joins the Chris Walker & Regina Belle Concert Tour as opening act for at the Durban ICC show this summer. The final date of the tour at the Sun City Super Bowl arena will feature the platinum-selling Jaziel Brothers will be thrilling opening act.
Ntuzuma-born vocalist and pianist, Mondli Ngcobo, carries the dream of becoming SA’s producer and performer and considering his contributions to the music industry, he is well on his way there. Mondli’s opening set will feature Metro FM’s Love Movement Wilson B Nkosi, Mzisi Shembe and Sentlte Lehoko. With that said show goers can expect nothing less than a well-curated, mesmerising, and jazzy night featuring local and international talent in the warm city of Durban. Mondli has collaborated with kwaito giants BigNuz and Tira, jazz legend Hugh Masekela and international DJ Black Coffee to mention a few.
The Jaziel Brothers’ opening act is for those who love love as they’ve been booked and busy on numerous high profile wedding ceremonies! Show goers can look forward to a passionate, moving, and remarkable start to the night under the Sun City sky with the talented duo. With their musical expertise and 18-year career, their opening act is set to rock the crowd. “Ngeke Ndiphinde” hit-makers, Jaziel Brothers have collaborated and sold-out concerts with global artists such as the great Oliver Mtukudzi and gospel singer Bebe Winans. The duo is also responsible for several local hits as they have collaborated with likes of Kelly Khumalo, Vincent Bones, Siphokazi and Mandoza.
The Metro fm love movement will be in full effect and well represented by seranding soul selectors, Wilson B Nkosi, Sentle Lehoko and Msizi Shembe.
The Chris Walker and Regina Belle tour will kick off at the Durban ICC on Friday 1 December at 19h00 and then move to the Sun City Super Bowl Sunday 3 December from 18:00.
