Comedy lovers are in for another hilarious instalment of non-stop laughter brought to you by legendary stand-up comedian Barry Hilton, only at The Caledon Casino, Hotel, Spa and Entertainment. Hilton will take centre stage at the Caledon Swartberg Hall on Saturday, 07 October 2017.

.Barry Hilton

Hilton, a legend in the South African media industry and a recipient of the 2013 Comic’s Choice Lifetime Achiever Award. Throughout his long-standing career, he has doubled as a comedian and a recognised television personality. His star rose even further when he was appointed the host of the quirky talk shows Catch A Wake Up and Funny You Should Say That.  Many still recognise Hilton by his long-standing role as the sarcastic one-liner bartender, Larry, in the famous South African alcohol beverage commercial, an iconic role he pioneered for over 13 years.

“We are truly honoured to, once again, be hosting Barry Hilton at our property. Hilton is one of the most recognised comedians in the country and he is a legend in his own right. He has kept the country entertained for more than three decades and shows no signs of slowing down any time soon. The last time he took centre stage at The Caledon, the show was sold out and we are expecting a full house once again,” says Paul Campbell, Director of Operations and Complex GM at the Caledon Casino.

The one night only show, will see Hilton showcasing brand new material, reaffirming exactly why South Africans consider him to be one of our country’s most relevant comedians. Hilton’s genuinely funny bones, his uncanny ability to gauge a crowd, and his firm stance on keeping comedy “clean” for the last 31 years, makes this show a must-see show for die-hard comedy fans and those who simply want their funny bones tickled.
