MMUSO WORSHIP DELIVERS A POWERFUL ENCOUNTER AT WHAT’S YOUR NEXT SUMMIT AND ‘THE HOLY ONE’ ALBUM LAUNCH

Mmuso Worship, the music ministry of Mmuso Church, ushered in a deeply moving and spirit-filled experience at the sold-out What’s Your Next Summit (Gauteng Edition), held at Rhema Bible Church in Randburg. More than just a gathering, the summit became a defining moment of encounter, purpose, and worship for a generation seeking clarity and direction.

Built around the theme ‘Unlikely Candidate’, the summit carried a resounding message throughout the day – that God’s calling is not reserved for the qualified, but for those willing to respond in obedience. Through powerful teachings, reflection, and prayer, attendees were challenged to confront fear, insecurity, and self-doubt, and instead embrace their identity and calling in Christ.

The summit created a space where conviction turned into action. Many in attendance responded to the call – some making first-time commitments to faith, while others rededicated their lives, marking the day as not only impactful, but transformative.

As the day transitioned into evening, the atmosphere shifted into a powerful live worship experience as Mmuso Worship officially launched their recently released album, ‘The Holy One (Live at Heartfelt Arena, December 2025)’. Seamlessly extending the message of the summit, the album launch was a continuation of encounter – an invitation into deeper intimacy with God.

Opening the evening with their breakout lead single ‘Zion’, which is rapidly approaching 3 million streams just two months after release, Mmuso Worship immediately set the tone for a night of high-impact praise and worship. The energy carried into the vibrant praise anthem ‘Oluwa’, a spirited offering rooted in Yoruba expression, igniting the room in celebration.

The worship moment deepened as Xoli Mncwango and Yanga Sobetwa led a stirring rendition of ‘You Are The One,’ a crowd favourite nearing one million streams, drawing the audience into a unified expression of devotion. The evening then took an intimate turn, as the duo delivered a heartfelt version of the timeless hymn ‘I Need Thee’, which unfolded into a rich medley of beloved worship songs.

In a powerful moment, Janine Price and Bishop Benjamin Dube joined the stage, leading into ‘Ngiyakuthanda’, before Bishop Dube delivered a moving medley of his iconic songs, including ‘No Foreign God’, ‘Jehova Is Your Name’, and closing with ‘El Shaddai, Adonai’. These moments anchored the night in legacy, reverence, and deep spiritual connection.

Mmuso Worship continued to minister through songs from The Holy One, showcasing the depth and intention behind the project, before closing the evening with a powerful rendition of their 2024 hit single ‘Jeso O Ntekane’.

Since its release 2 months ago, ‘The Holy One (Live at Heartfelt Arena, December 2025)’ has been steadily gaining momentum, resonating with audiences through its authentic sound, spirit-led message, and deeply rooted themes of surrender, identity, and trust in God. The project stands as both a musical offering and a spiritual tool – bridging worship and a live experience.

Ultimately, What’s Your Next Summit 2026 proved to be more than an event – it was a spirit led encounter. Through intentional programming, impactful voices, and a deeply immersive worship experience, Mmuso Church continues to position itself at the forefront of faith-led impact, speaking directly to the hearts of a generation navigating purpose and calling.

Following the success of the Gauteng edition, the What’s Your Next Summit continues its journey, with the next gathering set to take place in Durban on 3 May 2026 – extending its message of purpose, obedience, and transformation to even more lives.
