When guests choose to wine and dine at The Caledon, they can be assured of the utmost quality and sufficient quantity, thanks to Darren Morgan, the newly appointed Food & Beverage Manager.
Seeing the position as a new opportunity to grow, Darren snapped up the chance to help The Caledon deliver gastronomic satisfaction for the whole family at its three restaurants – be it casual dining at daVinci Restaurant, à la carte eating at the Black Sheep Diner or breakfasts and buffet dinners at the Blue Crane Restaurant. Asked which celebrity he’d invite for dinner at one of The Caledon’s eateries, he sweetly said, his wife.
As Food & Beverage Manager, he enjoys that no two days are ever the same and being able to make a difference to the way his team learns and performs by bringing fun into the workplace.
When not at work, Darren enjoys cooking and braaing with friends and family. He is also currently learning to play musical instruments – maybe one day he will show off his skills on-stage in one of The Caledon’s live entertainment venues.
