TOTAL TIME: Prep 15mins. Cook; 5mins/batch

MAKES: 4 Servings

Ingredients

  • 1.5cups Self-Rising Flour
  • 1/2 cup Milk
  • 2 eggs
  • ½ cup sugar
  • 1 tsp Vanilla Essence
  • 1 pinch of salt
  • 1/2 teaspoon ground cinnamon

Method

Your Defy Hand Mixer is light enough for the kids to use, but with its Turbo function, powerful enough for those intricate recipes.

Use your Defy Hand Mixer, to beat the eggs and milk together until fluffy. Mix in the flour, a pint of salt, sugar, cinnamon and vanilla essence.

Mix together until you have a smooth batter. Heat a pan on medium, and spray the pan with non-stick.

Pour your batter into an icing bag or squeeze bottle, and cut off a small hole at the end.

Now this is how we add the extra special love.

Carefully pipe in the pan a letter at a time, starting with the alphabet “I”, flip over when cooked and repeat the process for the words you want to say to mum.

Serve your scrumptious breakfast creation to mum in bed, with love and appreciation,

and a little help from your new family member, the Defy Hand Mixer.
